Nichole Bingham - Volunteer Coordinator/Admin. Assistant
Nichole started with Open Arms as a volunteer and became a staff member in June 2011.  She is a 2008 graduate of Warner Pacific College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has a background in event planning. James Eastwood – Director of Marketing & Communications
James came to serve Open Arms International with over a dozen years experience in sports and retail marketing.  He successfully served such brands as Adidas America, Anschutz Entertainment Group and Major League Soccer.  A native of London, England,  James now calls Portland, Oregon home where he lives with his wife Traci and their three children.  james@openarmsinternational.com

Tom Garrett - Southern Regional Director
Tom has a diverse background, which includes a successful career in sales and marketing, the opening and running of a group home for abused and abandoned children in Indiana, serving as Pastor of Discipleship for a growing church, and doing regional development work for a seminary. Tom and his wife, Laura, have been house parents as well as foster parents for more than 100 children. Along with their two children, they spent a summer in Kenya and developed a passion for the poorest of the poor in East Africa. Tom and Laura live in Granbury, Texas.  tomg@openarmsinternational.com

Kim Krebs - Director of Donor Relations
Kim joined Open Arms in March 2009. She is a native Oregonian and a 2002 graduate of Azusa Pacific University. Her professional  background is in government and fundraising, and she spent more than four years in Washington, DC working in various capacities, including Congressman Greg Walden's office and the White House. Prior to joining Open Arms International, Kim served as Finance Director for Senator Gordon Smith's re-election campaign. She has always had a passion for missions and development and is excited to be a part of the team!  kim@openarmsinternational.com 

Dave Redelfs - Director of Operations
Dave comes from an extensive background in operations at the Luis Palau Association and product management at Intel. Dave was the team manager on the charter trip to Eldoret, Kenya in 2002, where the vision for Open Arms International was born. Now, nearly a decade later, Dave is thrilled to be part of the Open Arms  team as their Director of Operations. Dave and his wife Susan have three children and make their home in Cedar Mill.  daver@openarmsinternational.com

Cindy Rogers- Child Sponsorship Coordinator
Cindy joined the team in February 2011, just three months after visiting Kenya.  As a public school educator for 25 years and a children's church worker for 30 years, she has a passion for children and their spiritual life. Her heart breaks at the plight of so many orphaned and abandoned children, and her goal is to help connect sponsors to children so that more children will be able to live in a loving Christian home at Open Arms Village and have a hope for the future.  children@openarmsinternational.com

Scott Schoenborn – Executive Director
A graduate in international business and finance, Scott spent nearly 14 years planting churches in unreached areas of Japan. Possessing a strong background in leadership and fundraising for Christian non-profits – Scott’s passion is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to a hurting and needy world. He and his wife, Beth, have five children (including quadruplets) and live in West Linn. Scott is excited about leading the US Open Arms team and seeing the ministry grow in effectiveness and impact in Kenya and around the world.  scott@openarmsinternational.com

Nancy Winn - Mission Outreach Manager/Accountant
Nancy became part of the team in September 2008. After experiencing the impact of working at Open Arms Village, she is eager to help other fulfill their calling to serve in Kenya.  As the accountant, Nancy is committed to maintaining strict financial accountability as required by ECFA and our faithful donors. Brian Bittke - Partnership Development
Brian Bittke has been involved in Open Arms International for four years and has served on the board for three. He comes from a professional background in the food industry. His home church is Willamette Christian, where he has attended for ten years. Brian and his wife Cathy have four children, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Caroline Shirota - Touchpoint Ministries
Caroline has a heart and long history of service to children. She served at Beaverton Foursquare Church in children’s ministry and as their staff artist.  She was also the Children's Ministry Director for the charter Open Arms trip to Kenya in 2002.  Today, Caroline combines her love of service and passion for art as Director of Touchpoint Ministry, a group of volunteers from across the country that design and sew beautiful quilts and create other handcrafted items as gifts for the children at Open Arms Village. 

Dr. Matt Tallman - Church & Community Relations
Matt joined OAI as a self-supported staff member in June 2008. He earned his PhD in Church History at Regent University in Virginia Beach, and previously taught as an adjunct faculty member at Christopher Newport University and as a faculty chair at Bethel College in Hampton, Virginia. He has worked as a college and career pastor in Portland, and a campus pastor/university chaplain at the University of Oregon, the College of William and Mary, and Old Dominion University. Matt is married to Cheryl, and they currently reside in Portland.

Kaytie Fiedler - Event Management
Kaytie came to Open Arms from the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, where she was the acting vice president of development. She now plans our annual fundraising banquet and Good Friday Breakfast.  Kaytie and her husband Lance have two grown children and live in West Linn, OR.
